Leeds United fans have been left very impressed with footage of forward Rodrigo from their latest U23 game.
The U23 side ran out 2-0 winners against Wolverhampton Wanderers, a win that increased their lead at the top of the Premier League 2 Division Two table, though it wasn’t the win that they were talking about, but their opening goal of the game which was scored by the Spanish forward.
Rodrigo has been out for a few weeks following his groin injury that he picked up against Leicester City and continued his road to recovery by playing for the academy side and got on the scoresheet following a rather well-worked free-kick.
It wasn’t the greatest goal that you’ll ever see, but it was enough to get plenty of fans excited about what he could bring to the team when he’s fully recovered and back in the team, with some hoping that comeback happens straight away:
Have you been satisfied with Rodrigo's season with Leeds so far?
