Wolverhampton Wanderers have joined the list of clubs looking at potentially bringing in Aaron Wan-Bissaka during the January transfer window.
This is according to the transfer expert Alex Crook who has shone some light on the transfer plans at Molineux amid links to signing Matheus Cunha.
It is believed Wolves are coming close to securing their first signing under Julen Lopetegui in the Brazilian forward, Cunha, from Atletico Madrid.
However, it seems as if they are also looking to strengthen their options in defence with the Manchester United right-back, Wan-Bissaka, who has been told to find a new club.
There is also believed to be an interest from Crystal Palace who initially sold Wan-Bissaka to United back in 2019 for £50m, but Crook believes Wolves are serious contenders:
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka, out of favour at Manchester United is another player that they’re chasing. I think Wolves bottom of the table as we sit here now. They’ll be one of the busier clubs this [January]. ”

This would certainly be an interesting signing if Wolves were able to bring in Wan-Bissaka, who has been hailed as ‘phenomenal’, given he is a player who has been outcasted so dramatically at Old Trafford.

The current right-back Nelson Semedo is one who leaves a lot of room for improvement with the same number of red cards in the league this season as he has assists (via Transfermarkt).
And although Wan-Bissaka has also struggled during his time at Old Trafford, he is a player who has shown an awful lot of potential with Marcus Rashford hailing him as ‘massively important‘.
However, with his former side in Crystal Palace said to be interested, it could prove a major struggle for Wolves to persuade him to sign at Molineux.
