Michael Bridge has dropped an update on how many players West Ham wish to sign this summer live on Sky Sports.
The Hammers have thus far made just the single signing in the form of Nayef Aguerd, although a deal to bring Alphonse Areola back to the London Stadium, this time on a permanent basis, appears to be edging closer.
However, West Ham fans may well be expecting a lot more business to be completed before the window slams shut in September given that the club still, only have Michail Antonio as a recognised senior striker, which likely won’t be enough for a club fighting on four fronts next season.
Will West Ham back Moyes this summer?
Yes!
No!
Hammers fans shouldn’t be too worried though as Bridge has dropped an exciting update live on Sky Sports about West Ham’s planned summer business, he said:
“We’re told, they want at least six new players for next season. They are in Europe again, okay it’s not the Europa League, it’s the Europa Conference League but that’s been a successful tournament.”
TIF Thoughts on transfer business West Ham still need to do…
If West Ham are to bring in another four players, presuming Areola’s deal gets over the line, then that would add some very impressive depth to David Moyes’ squad, who came so close to both a top four finish and Europa League final.
Therefore, if the manager is sufficiently backed this transfer window, then West Ham fans and the board, could well be set for another exciting campaign and perhaps go further by lifting some silverware if the right players are added to the squad.
