Club Brugge winger Noa Lang is aware of Leeds United’s long-standing interest in him, according to journalist Dean Jones.

The Dutchman has scored five and assisted three times in 17 appearances for his club this season, and has been eyed up by Jesse Marsch given his attacking quality and versatility.

A left-winger also capable of playing through the middle, he has provided 60 goal contributions in 102 games for Brugge since joining from Ajax in 2021, and at just 23 years of age, he has a bright future ahead.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones claimed that Lang is well aware of the interest in him from Leeds, and with the club in need of another attacker in January, this could be a target to keep an eye on with other clubs apparently circling.

He said: “Leeds have been hot on Lang for ages and he’s very aware of their interest.

“But Everton are looking for creative options, so that might be something to look out for.”

TIF Thoughts on Noa Lang and Leeds United…

With Patrick Bamford struggling for goals having scored just three times this season, Leeds could turn to the January market for an attacker, and Lang’s versatility makes him desirable for Marsch.

Lang, who has been described as ‘trouble’ by his Netherlands teammates, would be able to play either alongside Bamford on the wing or through the middle with Jack Harrison and Luis Sinisterra behind him, and could inject some quality end-product into a side that currently sit 15th in the Premier League ahead of their clash against Manchester City.

The attacker was once described as ‘the best player in the league’ by Belgian football analyst Filip Joos, and should they secure his signature over the likes of Everton, it would be a coup for Marsch and Leeds.
