The impact of Southampton losing Armando Broja next season could be ‘potentially huge’, according to journalist Ryan Taylor.
Southampton and Ralph Hasenhuttl will already be preparing for next season in the Premier League, knowing there is plenty of work to be done in the transfer window during the break.
They will know already that they will be losing Broja with his loan expiring. The forward has bid farewell on Instagram to the club, so his time at St Mary’s clearly appears to be over for now.
Hasenhuttl now has to find a replacement for Broja up top, or he will have to strike a deal with Chelsea should the Albania international have any chance of making a return to the south coast next season as a Saints player.
Journalist Ryan Taylor has been looking at the impact losing him will have on Southampton for GiveMeSport, stating: “I think Southampton need to recruit and I do think losing Broja could be potentially huge, especially if he doesn’t make that move permanent.
“I think Southampton will probably try, but I think he’ll either stay with Chelsea or go somewhere like a West Ham, Everton or Newcastle, and I know Napoli are actually interested as well. So, we’ll have to see, but I think Southampton need to probably move quickly.”

TIF Thoughts on Ryan Taylor’s comments…
Of course, one player who already seems to be a big fan of Broja at St Mary’s is James Ward-Prowse who said that the striker has ‘great technical ability’.
Broja will definitely be leaving a huge gap in the Southampton side, as the forward made 38 appearances last season for the Saints, showing his importance and how much Hasenhuttl relied on him.

There will be competition for his signature, according to GOAL, so bringing him back is far from simple, which would lead to a stressful summer for the manager as he looks to find someone else he trusts as much as the youngster to fill the role.
