Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts believes that £25m man Sergio Reguilon needs to improve after his relatively poor start to the season.
The Spain international has started all six of the club’s Premier League games thus far, and got a 4/10 from NBC Sports rating during the 3-1 reverse, having been part of a wretched first half display from Nuno Santo’s men.
Of course, they enjoyed a fine start to the campaign, beating Manchester City, Wolves, and Watford, while also losing 3-0 to both Crystal Palace and Chelsea, which was followed by Sunday’s defeat against the Gunners.
Has Reguilon been a bad signing?

Spurs also have Ben Davies as an option at left-back, but the former Real Madrid star appears to have developed into the club’s first-choice in the role.
Still, Roberts believes that Reguilon simply hasn’t been good enough this season, and thinks that he needs to be told that he must improve across the next few months.
Roberts said: “I think the left-back needs a kick up the backside. He’s not doing as much as he could do last year.”
Reguilon has made a total of 41 appearances for Spurs and has registered six assists, although he has yet to score a goal; the left-back has worked under both Jose Mourinho and Santo during his time in north London.
