Dean Windass believes that Wilfried Zaha would fit nicely into Tottenham’s front three.
For the second time in three seasons, there is increased speculation surrounding the Crystal Palace attacker’s future, with Zaha once again reiterating his desire to leave the Selhurst Park outfit.
Would you like Thuram at Tottenham?
Yes
No
Despite the uncertainty, the 28-year-old has continued to perform well for Palace and is on the back of the best goalscoring season of his career – netting 11 times in his 30 Premier League appearances.
Zaha’s desire to leave the Londoners for a second time comes after reports that Everton and Tottenham are interested in a £40m deal for the Ivorian.
He got his dream move to Manchester United back in 2013, but soon returned following a failed 12-month period at Old Trafford.
And Zaha could be on the move once again, with Spurs in need of another winger as Gareth Bale is expected to return to Real Madrid despite his successful loan spell, whilst Lucas Moura has been linked with a shock switch to Saudi Arabia.
Windass exclusively told This is Futbol: “I think he’s got to leave Crystal Palace. He failed at Man United, and I think that would be a great fit in that wide area on that right or left, whichever system they’re going to play.”
