According to Football Insider, Chelsea have offered a contract to Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira; whilst The Express report that Everton are set to launch a £21million bid for Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko.
The Blues have been linked with attacking midfielder Teixeira continuously in the build-up to the January transfer window, amid a flurry of 26 goals in as many appearances for the Ukrainian outfit this season.
Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu has already stated he’d be prepared to let Teixeira leave for one of ‘Europe’s top clubs’ and even publicly valued the 25-year-old at £29million last month.
Football Insider now claim there is a concrete contract offer ‘on the table’ amid talks between Chelsea and the Brazilian’s representatives. But they fail to confirm whether the west Londoners have agreed a transfer fee with Shakhtar.

Meanwhile, The Express report that Everton are lining up Dynamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko as a pricey replacement for Norwich City-bound forward Steven Naismith.
The Ukraine international boasts 108 goals in 282 appearances for his club and 22 in 55 for his country and has been no stranger to the Premier League’s rumour columns over the last few years – with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur often mooted as potential suitors.
Fearing his value could skyrocket at next summer’s European Championships, The Express claim Everton are ready to launch a £21million bid this month – but only after they receive £8million from Naismith’s planned move to Carrow Road.
The Scotland international has scored just once in the Premier League since bagging a hat-trick against Chelsea in September.
