Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has now taken to Instagram to share a potential injury boost following his World Cup return.
It was reported earlier this week that the Brazilian had returned from the Qatar World Cup to Hotspur Way to undergo scans on a suspected hamstring injury.
The report suggests the 25-year-old could now miss up to a month of Premier League action for the Lilywhites meaning Harry Kane’s return will now become even more important.
In Brazil’s final game of the Qatar World Cup, Richarlison was withdrawn after 84 minutes before the game went to extra-time despite creating two big chances in the game (via SofaScore).
However, Richarlison has taken to Instagram to post a story from Hotspur Way as he seemingly looks to step up his recovery with rehabilitation on an indoor bike.
TIF Thoughts on Richarlison’s injury…
The Spurs man went into the World Cup having only just made his return to action after sustaining a worrying injury in Tottenham’s Champions League campaign.
Will Richarlison be a big miss?
Yes
No
Despite having a slow start to life in north London in terms of goals, for Brazil, Richarlison carried on his sensational form for his national side.
And with Kane now set to return after an incredibly difficult ending to his World Cup campaign, the absence of Richarlison could come as a huge blow for Antonio Conte.
