As Rangers prepare to face Bayer Leverkusen this week in the UEFA Europa League, some fans are looking back on their most recent victory against Ross County. The win itself helped Rangers avoid dropping even further behind their rivals in the league.
However, some fans were left concerned with certain aspects of the game. Rangers fan, @Footballstewart, posted a freeze-frame from the match against Ross County. The photo shows Steven Davis dropping deep into Rangers’ defensive line to pick the ball up from George Edmundson. In the centre of the midfield, Glen Kamara is stood in acres of space, waiting for a pass. At the halfway line, Ianis Hagi can be seen screaming at Edmundson to play the ball centrally to Kamara.
Will Ianis Hagi score against Bayer Leverkusen?
Yes
No
The photo caused many Gers fans to shake their heads. They do admire Hagi, however, and praise his urgency.
Hagi is with you here….

Hagi pulling his hair out again.

Hagi knows.
Kamara not fussed— Garry (@garryboy11) March 8, 2020
So much disappointment in one frame.
Davis has no need to be back there whatsoever. Literally preventing Edmundson from playing any kind of football.
Worst of all though is look at Hagi. Screaming for the direct ball to Kamara in acres of space. What’s happened to us?

That alone is justification to sign Hagi

What do we think?
The photo is certainly a damning one for the Rangers backline. Hopefully, for Gers fans, the players have a bit more urgency to get the ball forward on Thursday. If not, the in-form Bundesliga outfit could make Steven Gerrard’s team pay.
