Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report that claims Brendan Rodgers has emerged as Spurs’ top managerial target.

According to the report by The Sun, following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last Monday, Rodgers now appears to be the leading candidate to replace the Portuguese manager as the next permanent manager at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of the season.

Spurs have had quite a few odd players over the years, but can you remember them? Here is the first one, who is this former Tottenham man?

The Sun also claims that the RB Leipzig manager, Julian Nagelsmann, is also a target of Daniel Levy, however, with Bayern Munich thought to be chasing the 33-year-old’s signature, it appears unclear whether the German boss would be willing to make the switch to Spurs.

Reports have since emerged which claim Nagelsmann is edging ever closer to an Allianz Arena move, with Leipzig and Bayern now set to haggle over what is thought to a ‘world-record‘ compensation fee.

After Hotspur Related shared the news regarding Rodgers on Twitter at the weekend, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be furious at the prospect of the Northern Irish boss taking over at their club.

All in all, it would appear these Tottenham fans do not want to see Rodgers take over at their club this summer, however, considering how well the 48-year-old has done at Leicester, with the Foxes currently sitting in third place in the Premier League standings, as well as having reached the final of the FA Cup this season, it is rather difficult to understand why.
