Despite being delighted to welcome Aaron Cresswell back into the fold recently, West Ham United are battling Chelsea and Liverpool for Sead Kolasinac’s signature, report BILD.
According to the German publication, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is keen to add greater depth at left back despite signing Arthur Masuaku as competition for Cresswell over the summer.
Having only made four Bundesliga starts so far this season, Kolasinac is firmly behind Chelsea loanee Baba Rahman in the left back pecking order at Veltins Arena right now.
An interesting sub plot is the fact that Kolasinac’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign meaning that Schalke may wish to cash in on the Bosnia Herzegovina international this January.
As for the other suitors, perhaps Liverpool’s need is greater than West Ham United’s right now considering the fact they are effectively playing a central midfielder in James Milner at left back at present.
