West Ham United will play in Europe next season after David Moyes guided the Hammers to a 7th-place finish in the Premier League last season, including a run to a Europa League semi-final. With that, it’s no surprise to see the Scot rolling in the plaudits.
Senior employees and owners of football clubs on social media have been taking to the sites to reflect on the season just gone in their own words, with that no different for the Hammers’ David Gold.
Will West Ham make more than seven signings this summer?YesNo |
Gold has taken to Twitter to heap praise on manager Moyes after a solid season, having the following to say: “Thank you to David Moyes for a great season. You and the team have done us proud and we look forward to competing in Europe next season. Well done David.”
TIF Thoughts on David Gold’s tweet…
One thing fans can take from the tweet is he looks on to next season, which could suggest no other club is currently interested in acquiring the services of Moyes. You’d imagine the fans will love that as they look to build on their finish from this season and push on.

Supporters will surely be keen to see what sort of backing Moyes will get after this though, with other clubs already doing business and the rumour mill already in full swing before the transfer window has officially opened.
Whether another European campaign will see the Hammers maintain their level of performances from the past two campaigns remains to be seen, but it appears certain that Moyes has the full backing – at least on Twitter – of the higher-ups at West Ham.
