Manchester United have completed the set when it comes to signing players from Europe’s major leagues this summer.
It’s Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge of the Old Trafford club and he’s certainly been quick to act on getting new signings in.
From Ligue 1 came Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free after his contract ended at PSG. The big Swede comes with a huge reputation as he looks to add a Premier League title to those he won in Italy, Spain and France.
Meanwhile from Spain came the young centre-half Eric Bailly. The former Villarreal player has been quick to settle in to his new surroundings with a number of assured displays and could just be sticking around for a long time in the Premier League.
Then, from Italy, came Juventus’ Paul Pogba, eventually. The Frenchman returned to his former club after a protracted transfer saga as he looks to finish what he started.
Finally from Germany, Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined from Dortmund. The Armenian is one of the best attacking midfielders around and will surely grab goals for United so will Mourinho still be tempted to sign more from the Bundesliga?
