St Johnstone are interested in signing Celtic defender Wallace Duffy this summer on a free transfer, according to the Scottish Sun.
The newspaper report that Saints boss Tommy Wright is looking for a right-back, in order to challenge Richard Foster next season.
The outlet also claim that the former Scotland U19 defender is due to leave Celtic Park shortly as his contract expires next month, so will be available on a free transfer for the Scottish club.
The 20-year old has featured seven times for the Celtic Reserves this season, and will be able to move on from Celtic Park once his contract ends next month.
Good move for Celtic?
It seems like there isn’t any real future for the youngster at Celtic Park, so yes.
Neil Lennon would have offered the 20-year old a new contract with the club if he had some sort of plans for him in the future, so this seems like a good move for the Scottish giants on the whole.
If anything, it’s just nice to hear that one of Celtic’s exit-bound youngster has a chance of still forging out a promising career.

Likely to happen?
It’s almost a dead certain, considering Duffy will be released from the club once his contract expires next month.
It’s hard to see any reason as to why the move would not come to fruition, especially with the Saints seeming ultra-keen to bring the 20-year old to their club in the summer.
If this move were not to happen, it would come as a real surprise.
