Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts believes that the club have reached a stage where every single game is a six-pointer in the Premier League.
The club face Arsenal at the weekend in a vital north London derby.
Spurs have lost their last two games in the Premier League 3-0, to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and to Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Will Nuno be at Spurs by the end of the season?
Yes
No
Against Arsenal, a defeat would mean that the Gunners, who were briefly bottom of the table earlier this term, would move level on points with Spurs.
And Roberts insists that the club have now reached a pressurised point that means the club simply cannot afford to lose their upcoming Premier League fixtures.
After the game against Arsenal, Spurs face Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and West Ham United in the top-flight.
Speaking to This Is Futbol, Roberts said: “They’re all massive. Every game we play now is massive, every game is a six-pointer for us now. That is the frightening thing. How can you go from Manager of the Month, nine points, to under pressure? Only Tottenham can do that.”
Spurs actually enjoyed a solid start to the season and beat Manchester City, Wolves, and Watford in succession, winning every game 1-0.
