Graham Roberts believes that Tottenham Hotspur’s summer signing Emerson is a good player who can improve the club.
Spurs signed the right-back from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The club, of course, cancelled the contract of Serge Aurier, allowing him to leave the club for nothing, and Emerson appears to have been signed as his direct replacement.

Since his arrival, the Brazil international has made three appearances for Spurs, playing the 90 minutes against both Crystal Palace and Chelsea in the Premier League, and the full game against Stade Rennais in the Europa Conference League.
Spurs lost both games in the league 3-0, but Emerson acquitted himself reasonably well against Wilfried Zaha and Marcos Alonso.
And Roberts believes that the defender can improve in north London and help them climb the table after an inconsistent start to the season.
The Spurs legend said: “He’s a good player, he looks a good player, so hopefully we’ve got somebody that’s going to stay at Tottenham and help us push up that league.”
Emerson only played three times for Barcelona, and has won four caps for Brazil.
