Steve Bull has been waxing lyrical over Moussa Sissoko when asked if he would be a good addition for Wolves this summer.

The Midlands outfit are lacking a box-to-box midfielder, with the Frenchman expected to be surplus to requirements at Tottenham.

Should Wolves reduce their asking price for Patricio?

Sissoko was once a key player under Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho, but was forced out of the team by Tanguy Ndombele, starting just one Premier League game in the final three months of the campaign.

The 31-year-old is still tied down to a long-term deal in north London, but with Oliver Skipp expected to challenge for a first-team place next season, Sissoko’s days at Spurs appear numbered.

To kick off this quiz on Romain Saiss, what squad number does the defensive midfielder currently wear for the Old Gold?

The Frenchman not only offers experience, but he can play in several positions, and has even played at right-back on the odd occasion during his five years at Tottenham.

And with Ruben Neves being linked to Arsenal, Sissoko could be a smart replacement for Bruno Lage, who’s yet to add to his squad since his appointment as Wolves manager.

Bull exclusively told This is Futbol that Sissoko would be a good start:

“He’s big, strong, he can be a bit clumsy, but his energy is absolutely unbelievable – box to box, left to right.”
