Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to some comments from Joe Hart following his move to Celtic earlier in the transfer window.
The former England goalkeeper joined Spurs as a back-up to Hugo Lloris during the Jose Mourinho regime but was quickly moved on following the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo and new sporting director Fabio Paratici.
The 34-year-old recently shed some light on his Spurs exit when speaking to The Daily Mail and after his quotes were shared on Twitter by Hotspur Related, Spurs fans were quick to share their thoughts.
He said:
“By two weeks into pre-season, I was told no matter what happens, you will not kick a ball for Tottenham. That is what Nuno wanted. I never had a conversation with him and the one we did have was that one.”
How did Spurs fans react to Hart’s comments?
“Brutal from Nuno, kinda like it though in a way. Some players need it.”

Was Hart treated unfairly?
Following the arrival of Pierluigi Gollini it was always likely that Hart would leave Spurs and whilst it was seemingly done in a ruthless manner by Espirito Santo, these Spurs fans seem delighted that he is being so clear on who he wants in his squad.
Were you glad to see Hart leave?
Yes
No
During his time at Spurs, Hart would make just 10 appearances, in which he conceded eight goals but kept five clean sheets, although he is a very error-prone goalkeeper, evidenced by AZ Alkmaar’s equalising goal against Celtic earlier this week, where Hart completely missed the ball and allowed the home side a tap in.
Spurs clearly wanted more competition for Lloris and Gollini should hopefully prove to be the ideal long-term deputy for the Frenchman in between the sticks, so the Portuguese manager looks to have done the right thing in signing the Italian and letting Hart go.
