JustJoe Football Show presenter Joe Wainman has called for Leeds United to make an audacious late bid for Noa Lang.
The Whites are rumoured to be targeting Club Brugge starlet Lang as the transfer deadline looms.
Lang, a 21-year-old winger, has made an impressive start to the new season and already notched two goals and four assists going into this weekend.
Should Leeds sign Lang before the deadline?
Yes
No
The Netherlands under-21s international sprung to Leeds’ attention after bagging 17 goals and contributing 11 assists in 38 appearances last season.
Having already seen the likes of Odilon Kossounou and Emmanuel Dennis leave for Bayer Leverkusen and Watford respectively, Belgian outfit Club Brugge do not want to see another of their top talents depart before the transfer window slams shut.
Belgian media outlet Sport Voetbalmagazine, via Leeds Live, claim Lang has a £30million price tag as Club Brugge look to deter potential suitors from making a late move.
But former All Leeds TV anchorman Wainman hopes Whites director of football Victor Orta will be able to tempt the Belgian club into selling their prized asset.
He told TIF: “He’s someone I would love. I know the club are big on him as well. I think Victor Orta has been a massive fan of his.”
