Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter after news emerged linking the Lilywhites with a move for Manchester United and England ace Jesse Lingard.
According to ESPN, United are facing the prospect of losing the 28-year-old for nothing next summer after the midfielder shelved contract talks because of a continued lack of game time at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Subsequently, a host of Premier League sides including Spurs, West Ham, Newcastle and Everton alongside European giants including Barcelona and AC Milan have all registered in interest in securing Lingard’s signature on a free next summer.

The Warrington native has only racked up eight appearances in all competitions despite excelling while on loan at West Ham United during the second half of last season.
