Former Leeds United midfielder David Norris would not be surprised to see Marcelo Bielsa name Junior Firpo as a substitute later today but thinks a start will come too soon.
Leeds, who travel to north London to take on Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, have been without Firpo due to injury.
The 25-year-old left-back has missed the Yorkshire club’s last four Premier League fixtures.

However, he could now be set for a return, with Football Insider reporting before Bielsa’s pre-match press conference that the player has been given the all-clear.
Given Bielsa’s strict rules when it comes to fitness, Norris is not sure about Firpo starting the game, but the ex-Leeds star thinks a bench role is possible.
“He’s got to get through Bielsa’s return to play rules,” Norris said to TIF. “Hopefully he has done enough to do it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t start and they put someone out of position in that position.”
After a poor start to the season, Leeds managed to find some form just before the international break, picking up a point against Leicester City and a win versus Norwich City.
Building on that today, though, could be difficult, with Conte likely to be desperate to earn his first Premier League win as Tottenham manager.
