Brighton defender Ben White could be a crucial addition for Leeds United next season if they manage to land him on loan.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Whites have been monitoring the 21-year old enforcer for over a year, and are looking to offer him a temporary move to the Championship next season following his successful loan spell with Peterborough.
Marcelo Bielsa should focus on gaining his services for Whites for next season in the Championship, as he will be a brilliant addition and will provide some healthy competition for Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson.
White has enjoyed an impressive loan spell throughout the back end of last season with Peterborough, featuring 15 times for the club in League One, scoring a single goal along the way.
However, the defender has bags of potential, and has the pace to keep up with the fast paces nature of the Championship attackers ahead of next season should he make the switch.
Leeds have suffered a number of blows this season in defence, through injury and suspension, so Bielsa will no doubt be looking to further secure his defensive additions going into the new Championship season to help prevent players playing out of position to cover for missing numbers.
White could prove to be key for Leeds should he make the move to Elland Road next season, and this would also give extra competition to the likes of Aapo Halme, who covered a number of times for Bielsa in the first team last season at the age of just 21.
This move could be a brilliant one for Leeds to secure on loan, and the Whites should go all out to bring the Brighton youngster in after rejecting a loan move for him last season.
