Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has revealed that this will be his last club in Europe, in a message posted on his Twitter feed.
The legendary German midfielder arrived at Old Trafford last summer under Louis van Gaal after calling an end to a trophy-laden spell with Bundesliga titans Bayern Munich.
However, after struggling for form and fitness in equal measure, the 32-year-old looks to have been frozen out of proceedings by new boss Jose Mourinho.
During his first season on these shores, the World Cup winner was largely unable to keep up with the pace of the Premier League as the club struggled in a much wider sense.
Still, with merely days of the transfer window left, the former Germany captain has announced that a move elsewhere in Europe does not interest him.
That leaves few options for him should he ultimately leave the Theatre of Dreams, with both the MLS and Chinese Super League having shut their transfer windows.

Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have arrived at the club to further push him down the pecking order, as Mourinho desperately tries to deliver a Premier League title.
