Jack Pitt-Brooke has featured on the latest episode of The View from The Lane podcast to discuss all things Tottenham Hotspur related.
One topic of discussion was Tottenham’s search for a new manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last month.

A number of names have been linked with the vacant permanent role with Ryan Mason taking interim charge until the end of the season.
The initial frontrunner, Julian Nagelsmann is now out of the running with the 33-year-old agreeing to become the next Bayern Munich manager at the end of the season. Pitt-Brooke provided his thoughts on the candidates who remain available and gave his thoughts on who he thought will be the favourites (21:57): “I still think if I had to guess, I think the likeliest candidates are probably [Roberto] Martinez, [Erik] Ten Hag, [Brendan] Rodgers, [Graham] Potter.
“I think [Scott] Parker would probably fall into the same bracket as Potter, which is very popular and highly-rated young manager who will go on to be very, very good. But maybe the Tottenham job right now is a bit too early in his development.”

The appointment of Jose Mourinho ultimately did not prove a successful one, and the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino was inevitable after the start to the 2019/20 season which Spurs had.
This next manager needs to be the right one given the position Spurs find themselves in with Champions League a pipe dream in relation to their form since December.
Whoever their next manager may be, getting them in as soon as possible could prove hugely beneficial to give him as much time as possible with his players and to provide his influence on the summer transfer window.
