Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims regarding them and a potential bid for West Bromwich Albion’s Matheus Pereira.
The Brazilian has been the Baggies’ best attacking threat this season, scoring 10 goals and chipping in with 5 assists, earning him a WhoScored rating of 6.92/10 in the process. It ultimately wasn’t enough though to stop them from getting relegated from the Premier League.
And his attacking work has clearly impressed a number of clubs, with a report from The Express claiming that Leeds United, along with Leicester City and RB Leipzig have shown an interest in his services ahead of potential bids this summer.
The news was relayed to fans via the @LeedsAllOver Twitter account, where there were plenty of fans that seemed to be pretty excited about being linked to him and were practically begging the club to do so:
“Good…hope we go in quite hard for this one…by far West Brom’s best player!!!”

The report in The Express did claim that Leicester City were at the front of the queue, so the club do have something of a fight on their hands if they want to be the ones to secure his signature.
