Lots of football fans have been reacting to the performance of Leeds United’s Daniel James during Wales’ game against Estonia in World Cup Qualifying.
Robert Page’s men came into the game off the back of a 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic on Friday night, and hoping to do a lot better than the last time they faced the Estonians, when they were held to a 0-0 draw in Cardiff.
James actually scored Wales’ second goal of the game last time out, but it still wasn’t enough to save him from some fierce criticism from supporters online for the rest of his performance.
And that performance appeared to carry over into the game in Tallinn, as he continued to get plenty of negative press from people on social media for his actions during the game, with many upset about his inability to keep hold of the ball:
“Dan James needs to stay off set pieces! Why is he taking them?”
Have you been pleased with Dan James' performances so far?
Yes
No
Hopefully these performances for his country won’t carry on into his performances for his club.
