Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have swooned over the latest report on Dele Alli’s future which recently emerged on Twitter.
According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Jose Mourinho’s side want the English midfielder to stay with the club and ‘fight for his place’ in the team.
It is also claimed that the north London outfit are ‘expected’ to resist loaning out the 24-year-old during the January transfer window.
The claim comes not long after in-the-know journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that there are “huge chances” that the Englishman leaves the club in January during his Here We Go podcast.
The report from Sky Sports was relayed to Tottenham fans by Last Word On Spurs, though, and it had lots of them swooning.
So, what did these Spurs fans have to say about the latest report on Dele Alli?

So far this season, Alli has made just four Premier League appearances for Spurs, in which he has neither scored a goal nor has he provided an assist (per WhoScored).
His performances, too, have been below par as he has delivered a weak 6.11/10 average rating, making him the worst-performing player to feature for Tottenham in the league this season.
