Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have chosen Romain Saiss as the club’s most underrated player.
On Tuesday afternoon, Wolves Live posed the question to the Old Gold faithful to chose one name who they thought was underrated in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad (per Wolves Live).
With Leander Dendoncker and Jonny Otto as other respectable mentions, Wolves’ 29-year-old Moroccan was a key feature throughout.

Wolves signed Saiss back in the summer of 2016 from French outfit, Angers, for an undisclosed fee (per BBC).
Since then, the midfielder has gone on to make 112 appearances for the Old Gold, netting eight goals and grabbing two assists over the duration (per Transfermarkt).
Having picked up a 7/10 in the club’s last outing, prior to the international break, whilst playing at centre-back (via Express and Star), many fans had him outlined as underrated.

What do we think?
The Moroccan has a sturdy, if underwhelming, 6.71/10 average rating for the season so far (per Whoscored), meaning that his impact could be being underrated.
However, having 100 games under his belt for the Old Gold and his versatility to play centrally in midfield or defence makes him a vital asset to Espirito Santo – underrated or not.
