West Bromwich Albion fans on Twitter have been showing their appreciation for centre-back Kyle Bartley after his strong performance in Monday’s 0-2 victory at Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.
The 28-year-old was a joy to watch as he successfully prevented the Potters from finding any route back into the game.
And fans were quick to praise the former Swansea man after the club posted a tweet in support of the player’s strong showing.

Possibly one of, if not the, most consistent performer this season and has gone from strength to strength since the Villa game. Bilic has had a huge impact on his game too #WBA

I flipping love this guy! Any player who fights back from last season where his performances were consistently below par for reasons partly out of his control imo, and give what hes gave us this season deserves all the credit in the world. My player of the season so far.

What do we think?
Bartley is enjoying one of his best seasons in football so far this year and his pairing with Semi Ajayi been integral to the Baggies climbing to the top of the Championship. After a difficult start to his Baggies career last year, he’s found his feet under Slaven Bilic and will go into the next third of the season full of confidence. Indeed, the 28-year-old has been impressive in his 15 second-tier appearances this season, achieving an average of 1.5 tackles per game, 0.9 interceptions and 5.1 clearances per match as the Baggies look to make it back to the promised land.
