West Bromwich Albion fans loved the performance of left-back Conor Townsend after he put in another strong performance on Monday night.
The 26-year-old has found minutes hard to come by this season, being limited to only three league appearances from the bench, but he impressed boss Slaven Bilic in recent weeks and earned his first league start in the 0-2 victory over Stoke City.
He joined the club at the start of last season from Scunthorpe United but was limited to only 12 appearances in the Championship in his first season.
Fans on Twitter were unanimous in praise for the player to push forward and keep his place for future fixtures.
So under rated, literally ALWAYS performs

What do we think?
Townsend looked very impressive in Albion’s comeback draw against Barnsley last week, but on his first start of the season, he seized another opportunity. This is another showcase of his professionalism when many in his situation would have over-compensated on the field or caused a fuss behind the scenes. But he’s been patient and that should pay dividends for the remainder of the season, as he could potentially play a key role in helping the Baggies escape the Championship and make a return to the Premier League.
