Aston Villa fans on Twitter have been expressing their opinions on VAR after news of the club writing a letter of complaint about it.
This comes after Villa fan twitter account @Villareport shared a post on their page relaying news originally reported by Sky Sports that Villa have written to the Premier League to express concerns over the use of VAR.
This tweet then led to many Villa fans wanting to express their own issues with the Video Assistant Referee.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans not happy with VAR:
Surely if every club in the League complain the Premierleague have to listen and review it in its current form as it’s taking the enjoyment out of the sport.

Could be the difference between staying up and going down. We’ve lost valuable points cos of VAR.

VAR has been at the centre of many controversies in the Premier League this season. For Villa, in particular, their latest brush with the new system saw Trezeguet’s opening goal in the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool take a while to be given after numerous VAR checks.
News of this latest update of the club making an official complaint has made some Villa fans pleased that action has been taken on the matter.
Good i think all teams need to do this

What do we think?
VAR has played a big part in so many Premier League games this season. Some decisions that VAR has made have been correct ones, but some others have caused more controversy than accuracy. If this complaint by Villa can help VAR change for the better, there should be no more issues surrounding it or how it is implemented by the officials.
