A worrying stat posted by LUFCDATA has made many Leeds United fans concerned about the rest of the season.
The post has pointed out the amount of ‘big chances’ Leeds United have missed, the Peacocks have had 262 shots this season, however, 118 of them were off-target leaving some fans to call for a new striker to be bought or used.
Most big chances missed in the Championship in 2019/20:
Leeds (30)
West Brom (23)
Middlesbrough (20)
Bristol City (19)
Fulham (19)

Just need a top striker to gobble up these big chances!

Without doubt our worst problem!

What concerns me also is the amount of teams that always seem to score against us with their one chance in a game.

Many of the fans were interested to see how many chances Patrick Bamford had missed, with a lot of them pointing the blame his way.
He’s missed 10 pal.

Same old story and most fell to the useless Bamford lol

Curious to know how many of the 30 Bamford has missed?

What Do We Think?
To blame just Patrick Bamford is a little unfair, however, the 26-year-old has only scored once in this last 10 Championship matches, which is the type of form that would usually get you dropped from the side, especially from the striker position.
Leeds average 16.4 shots per game, meaning that they can afford to miss the odd chance and most of the time still win the match, but fans will be hoping that the team becomes a lot more clinical if they do get promoted to the Premier League this season, as missed chances in that league will see you quickly return to the Championship.
