Celtic fans were unanimous on Twitter over the terrific form of their team, but it was one specific individual that got an extra dose of social media love over the weekend.
Jeremie Frimpong posted a tweet late on Saturday night following the Bhoys’ 5-2 victory over in Hibernian to send Neil Lennon’s men into a fourth consecutive Scottish League Cup final.
In the tweet, the 18-year-old highlighted how the team were ‘together as one’ as they glided through to the final where they’ll meet Rangers in December (The Guardian).
Fans were quick to show their appreciation for their young Dutch sensation and his message.

What do we think?
It could be too early to say, but Frimpong could be the signing of the summer for the Hoops, despite having brought in the likes of Christopher Jullien, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Fraser Forster as well (TransferMarkt). Most wouldn’t have expected to see such a meteoric rise from the young Dutchman since his arrival from Manchester City in the summer, but he’s now the name that most people look for on the teamsheet.
An Old Firm final awaits this gifted prospect.
