Coinciding with their big ambitions, the owners are looking to appoint a big figure from the Saudi Golf Federation, Majed Al Sorour, to become one of their directors.
This follows an alleged image showing the figure in question perhaps prematurely revealing this change on LinkedIn.
With the Magpies looking to make the appointment official, the club have passed the appointment on to the Premier League to complete their owners’ and directors’ test.
What did these Newcastle fans have to say?
“Imagine where we gonna be in 5yrs time, thats 10 transfer windows.., Mind Blown”
The news comes amid Newcastle’s trip to the homeland of their new majority owners, with a winter training camp set up in Saudi Arabia.
And despite their fate in the Premier League still to play for, it is apparent these fans have been left optimistic for what the future may bring with the owners holding big plans.
