According to reports from The Express, Liverpool are ready to rival Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City in the race for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.
After netting 14 times in 38 appearances last season, the West Bromwich Albion star was subject to a series of bids from Spurs during the summer. But the two clubs couldn’t agree on the structure of a reported £25million deal – leading to Berahino’s infamous Twitter blast at Hawthorns chairman Jeremy peace.

In recent weeks, the Lilywhites have been tipped to revive their interest whilst Stoke City have also emerged as potential suitors, with talks between the Britannia outfit and the Baggies said to be ‘at an early stage‘.
But according to Mirror Football, fellow long-term admirers Liverpool could also enter the race to sign the 22-year-old this month, should Jurgen Klopp run out of patience with injured frontman Daniel Sturridge.
The England international has clocked up just 106 minutes of playing time since the German gaffer took Anfield’s managerial reigns in October and reports last week claimed the Reds are ready to consider offers around the £25million mark.
