According to reports from Calcio Mercato, Arsenal and Chelsea target Marcelo Brozovic is not currently considering a move to the Premier League – and would prefer to secure a contract extension at Inter Milan instead.
The 23-year-old has emerged as the shining star of the Nerazzurri starting Xi over the last few months, netting three times from midfield in his last eight appearances across all competitions, amid a run of form that has seen him become synonymous with the #EpicBrozo hashtag on social media.
Arsenal were courting the former Dynamo Zagreb star before his San Siro switch in January 2014 and reportedly launched a €19million bid in December – whilst Chelsea and European champions Barcelona have also been linked over the last few weeks.

But speaking to Calcio Mercato, the Croatian international’s agent has suggested the midfielder is more interested in extending his spell with Inter Milan than finding new employment abroad.
As quoted by the Italian news outlet, representative Miroslav Bicanic said; “What can I say about the transfer rumors? He improves week by week, and this can be seen also in England and Spain. The Premier League clubs know him very well, but they also know that he won’t be easy to sign him.”
“Marcelo is happy at Inter, so we would think about the transfer market only if Inter will agree to a transfer. Does he deserve a new contract? We are happy with Mancini’s confidence. If the club will decide to offer him a new deal, it will give him even more energy to remain focused on Inter.”
Brozovic’s current terms expire in 2019.
