Leeds United have been dealt a potential injury blow, with Crysencio Summerville spotted in a protective boot.
The 21-year-old has emerged as a key player in Jesse Marsch’s side this season, scoring four times in the Premier League.
A dramatic winner against Liverpool was his second of a four-game run of netting in successive matches heading into the mid-season break.
Teammate Liam Cooper has claimed that he has a very bright future ahead of him, but he may now have suffered a setback in his development.
As tweeted by LeedsAllOver, the Dutch flyer has been pictured wearing a protective boot on his left foot, which could mean a spell on the sidelines.

TIF Thoughts on Summerville and Leeds…
Do you expect Leeds to spend in January?YesNo |
The extent of the youngster’s injury remains to be seen, but if Summerville is out for an extended period of time, it will certainly be a concern for Marsch.
Only Rodrigo (9) has scored more goals for the club this season, while the Dutchman is one of just four players to score more than once in all competitions.
Summerville came off just 11 minutes into a friendly with Elche on Thursday night and was replaced by Sam Greenwood, but luckily, the club do have options in wide areas.
Wilfried Gnonto and Jack Harrison are also alternatives, but nonetheless, it is disappointing given the rich vein of form the Netherlands U21 international was on.
