Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report concerning the fitness of the Whites central midfielder, Adam Forshaw.
Having been out of action for around 18 months due to a hip injury, the Daily Mail reported on Saturday that Forshaw completed 60 minutes in a U23 fixture against York City, before suggesting that the 29-year-old could return to Leeds’ first-team training in the coming weeks.
Forshaw was a regular during Marcelo Bielsa’s first season at Elland Road back in 2018/19, featuring 32 times in all competitions under the Argentine, who is reported to still hold the midfielder in high regard.
And, after Readsector relayed the news regarding Forshaw’s return from injury on Twitter, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be delighted at the prospect of the £2.25 million-rated man’s reintegration to the first team squad.
