Marcelo Bielsa has talked openly about the investment that Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has given to the club.
Leeds tweeted out the Bielsa quote on Monday, which stated: “He has invested in things you can’t see, nutrition, security, academy etc.”
Indeed, this remark will be great news to hear for any Peacocks fan, as an owner who’s willing to invest in the small 1% improvements, is an owner who’s invested in the longevity of the club.
Marcelo on what he needs to take the club forward: “The owner has shown a lot of generosity. The club has a very good group of young and experienced players. We could not hope for better facilities. He has invested in things you can’t see, nutrition, security, academy etc.” pic.twitter.com/dtPEtZtMZM

Really lovely to hear. I don’t think Radz always gets enough credit for transforming the ethos of the club from previous management. Incredibly proud of this club on and off the pitch

All well and good but let’s not be slack in January and let’s get 1-2
Players in to strengthen the squad and be even more confident we are in a good position even if we get Injuries to go up in the top 2!!!— Robert James (@Robertkas86) November 25, 2019
The not so subtle pre-January messages are being drip fed already by the sound of it.

Obviously the fans will be nervous if more messages start hinting about a quite January, however, they will have to trust their experienced manager’s judgment, as he hasn’t disappointed them yet and we are sure he doesn’t plan to.
It’s what happens on the pitch that matters though

What Do We Think?
Bielsa is no fool and has been around for a long time, so we have no doubt that he will have some money to play with come January. With all the QSI talk still looming, praising the owner is an interesting move for the manager to make at this present time, perhaps the Argentine is trying to keep on the board’s good side to increase the chance of spending next window.
