Some Chelsea fans are desperate to see Ruben Loftus-Cheek return from injury.
The midfielder has been out with an Achilles injury suffered in an end of season friendly prior to Chelsea’s Europa League final clash with Arsenal in May this year (per The Independent).
The official Chelsea Twitter account tweeted a video yesterday commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Englishman’s stunning hat-trick against BATE Borisov in last season’s Europa League campaign (BBC Sport).
As you can see below, a number of Chelsea fans can’t wait for the midfielder to return after seeing the club’s post:
Can’t wait to see him play for us this season with this hit we already given teams

And, Loftus-Cheek even replied to the video the club tweeted of his hat-trick with a blue love-heart emoji, which resulted in even more fans getting excited about his future return.
Although, it doesn’t appear as if they’ll see him immediately as he’s still recovering from injury.
Can’t wait to see you return, beast!

What do we think?
Loftus-Cheek is yet another example of Chelsea’s plethora of young English talent. His injury cost him some vital playing time, not only in last year’s Europa League final victory, but also in Frank Lampard’s current tenure as Chelsea boss. Last season’s hat-trick is a prime example of what the rising star can offer his club, as well as the 10 goals and five assists he managed to produce in all competitions last season.
