Aston Villa fans have expressed their opinions on Twitter that Keinan Davis should start in their next match.
Davis came on as a substitute in the last 20 minutes of Villa’s previous match, the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City (BBC Sport). But some Villa fans were excited by what they saw in Davis’ short cameo.
The official Aston Villa Twitter account tweeted a picture of the 21-year-old in action at the Etihad. This tweet then led to some Villa fans pleading that Davis should start in their next match.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans wanting Davis to start:
Yes, yes it was, now let the man do it from minute 0 please.

Davis has made six appearances in the Premier League for Villa this season (per Transfermarkt), but despite not scoring any goals as of yet, some Villa supporters are still keen to see the young Englishman get a chance to start in one of their next top-flight matches.
Seen a lot of strikers over the years force their way into the side, Keith Leonard, John Deehan, coming in alongside signings , Keenan will make his mark this season, no doubt about that.

Deserves to start. At least one chance. But he deserves far more because he brings far far more. Wesley’s performances are up and down and needs more time to settle down.

What do we think?
While it would be good to see another upcoming English talent make his mark on the Premier League, Davis needs to hit the ground running when it comes to scoring goals. Villa currently sit in 15th position in the league table (Sky Sports), and if Davis were to chip in with a few goals, then not only would that boost Villa’s chances of survival, but it would also lighten the load on Wesley who has produced four goals already this season.
