Aston Villa fans have been debating on Twitter over a potential Glen Kamara transfer in January.
A couple of Villa fan accounts, including (Villareport) and (Astonforza), have relayed a report from the Daily Mail, which states that Villa have been following Rangers midfielder Kamara.
But, this rumour has split a number of Villa fans on whether the club should potentially go for him or not.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans excited by this potential transfer:
i hope we sign him or other CDM . we need a backup for Nakamba. D.Luiz suits 8 role more

Unbelievable Jeff!

However, there were some Villa fans that were not as impressed as others were with the transfer rumour. These Villa fans think another midfielder is not what the club needs at the moment, and that any January transfers should be focused on more attack-minded players.
Why????

What do we think?
Aston Villa currently have four central midfielders, including John McGinn, who has settled into Premier League life well to be Villa’s top performer so far this season (as per WhoScored, averaging a rating of 7.47), as well as producing three goals and one assist in 10 appearances (per Transfermarkt). Of course, there is the risk of a couple of injuries that could open the door for a potential move in January, but right now, Villa are better off focusing on signing a striker with Keinan Davis still lacking experience and just one goal to his name this season. And, in terms of Jonathan Kodjia, it has been reported (as per Football Insider) that Smith will listen to offers for him in January, which could divert the Villans’ attention away from Kamara, with a striker possibly more important.
