Everton fans are divided on Twitter over their club’s decision to sign former Southampton ace Cuco Martina.
The 27-year-old right-back has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal with the Merseysiders following the expiration of his deal with the Saints.
The Toffees announced the news on their official website and official Twitter account on Monday evening.

Martina becomes Everton manager Ronald Koeman’s seventh signing of the summer as he follows Jordan Pickford, Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Ramirez, Michael Keane and Henry Onyekuru through the doors at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old struggled to make much of an impact at Southampton last term, and he only made 18 appearances across all competitions.
He spent two years at the south coast club after joining in the summer of 2015 from FC Twente, and in that time he played 36 league and cup games.
The Goodison Park faithful were split on Twitter on whether Martina was a good signing or not, as some fans welcomed him to the club, while other supporters lamented Koeman’s decision to sign him.
