Having already scored 15 goals in all competitions so far this term, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted a potential Moussa Dembele exit could be out of his hands, report HITC.

The 20-year-old has recently been scouted by Manchester United and speaking to the Daily Mail recently, the former Liverpool manager was frank and honest when speaking about the Frenchman’s long-term future.

Rodgers claimed: “In any market, in any job or any role, if someone offers you 100 grand a week, and you’re on 40 grand a week, then you’re going to look at it.”

Picked up on a four-year deal from Fulham back in June, Dembele has twice proven the difference against Old Firm rivals Rangers while also bagging an impressive brace against Manchester City in the Champions League.

Recently receiving praise from French international legend Zinedine Zidane to boot, the Real Madrid boss was vocal in claiming Dembele should remain at Celtic Park for up to two years if he has designs on being the best.

Having scored so many goals this early on into a new season however, the reality is that many more clubs may circle for Dembele’s signature having already proven his goalscoring prowess.

Rodgers continued: “The reality is that, no matter if we are in the Champions League, there are going to be other leagues, including the English Premier League, that can offer money that will dwarf the revenue a club like Celtic can earn.”
